THE JOURNEY

Awakened in the morning to a world cold and Bare.
You set your sights, once again, for a life that's fit to Share.
The world looks on, people all around, but no one to take your Hand.
Yet you know that through it all you've got to take a Stand.
You've gazed at fools in a foolish world, mocking all that's Right.
Living, dying, laughing, crying, will they see beyond the Night?
Your cries went out into the wind, did anybody Hear?
Is anyone there, does anyone care, must you live a life of Fear?
Your steps are harder now, your pace is Slow.
But Someone's pushing, always pulling, calling you to Know.
His word is firm, His word is true, you see you need only Believe.
His love was proved, in grace was shown, it's so hard to Conceive.
You hear the word, you know it's true, and now you take your Stand.
The word you hear, the Word, you know, is there to take your Hand.
Now faith is standing where doubt once stood, behold you're now brand New.
The love of God is in your heart for Christ has died for You.
